Hyperliquid trader analytics

The honest rating of Hyperliquid traders.

WalletTier ranks Hyperliquid accounts by verified statistical skill and risk of ruin — not by raw PnL. Follow the solid ones; avoid the ones who blow up accounts. The stars measure soundness, not how much they made.

Why PnL leaderboards mislead you

Every Hyperliquid leaderboard ranks the same way: by who made the most money. That number rewards luck and extreme leverage — the exact profile that posts a huge PnL right before it blows up. Copy the top of a PnL board and you are often copying a coin-flip that hasn't landed on tails yet.

WalletTier asks a different question: who is actually skilled, and who won't ruin your account? We reprocess each account's full closed-trade history, strip out the market and luck, and grade what's left by historical risk.

Comparison reflects WalletTier's own characterization of how PnL-oriented leaderboards rank accounts. Nansen and Hyperdash are independent products with broader feature sets; here we compare only the trader-ranking angle.

How the rating works

1 · Skill, net of luck

We reprocess the full closed-trade history and estimate the skill contribution after removing market beta, funding and luck. A good month in a bull market isn't skill.

2 · Risk of ruin

Max drawdowns, leverage and open losses grade the score. A high return built on account-ending risk does not earn stars.

3 · Behavioral red flags

A second lens flags risky habits you inherit if you copy them: averaging down into losers, past liquidations, PnL that is mostly funding, not cutting losses.

4 · Stars (★1–★5)

Soundness, not PnL. Top stars require a long track record and confirmed skill — a young account cannot reach ★5. Recomputed daily.

What we honestly do and don't claim. In our internal validation the rating does not predict future return — nobody honest promises that. What it does is discriminate risk of ruin: top-rated accounts showed dramatically smaller forward drawdowns than noise-rated ones. So WalletTier answers “who is unlikely to blow up your account,” not “who will pump the most.”

Identities stay protected

The public site never exposes real wallet addresses. The identity and live positions of the elite (★★★ and above) are gated behind Pro — so the ranking is useful without handing the copy-trade away for free.

Frequently asked questions

What is WalletTier?

WalletTier ranks Hyperliquid traders by their real skill, statistically separating skill from luck and from the market, and grading the result by historical risk of ruin. The stars (★1 to ★5) measure soundness, not raw PnL.

How is it different from Nansen or Hyperdash?

Nansen and Hyperdash, like most leaderboards, sort by PnL or volume — who made the most. WalletTier sorts by confirmed skill and anti-ruin: it doesn't tell you who earns the most, but who won't blow up your account. The rating is the output of a statistical model, not a recommendation.

How is the rating calculated?

The full closed-trade history of each account is reprocessed to estimate the skill contribution net of luck, market beta and funding, then graded by risk. Top stars require a long track record and confirmed skill, not just profit — a young account cannot reach ★5. The exact method is proprietary and it's recomputed daily on public Hyperliquid data.

Does it predict who will earn the most?

No, and we don't claim it does. In our internal validation the rating does not predict future return, but it does discriminate risk of ruin: top-rated accounts showed far smaller forward drawdowns than noise-rated ones.

Can I check any wallet?

Yes — paste any Hyperliquid address for an instant, free rating, including your own, and share the resulting card.

Is this financial advice?

No. WalletTier provides statistical information about the soundness and risk of public Hyperliquid accounts; it is not investment advice nor a recommendation to copy anyone.

Is it free?

The full analysis and the ranking up to ★★ are free. The identity and live positions of the elite (★★★+) unlock with Pro (€19/mo) or Trader (€29/mo).
